Assistant Teaching Professor in Gender and Sexuality Studies
The Department of Women and Gender Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in the field of Gender and Sexuality Studies to start the fall 2026 semester.
This is a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor position with a three-year renewable contract. The starting salary for this 100% full-time appointment is $60,000 over the 9-month academic year. Additional compensation may be available for summer employment, primarily teaching. A moving allowance of up to $4,000 may be available to the successful candidate.
Prior to the start of the appointment, candidates must have a PhD, or equivalent terminal degree, in Women and Gender Studies or related disciplines, including but not limited to Ethnic Studies, English, Sociology, Media and Communication, Political Sciences, Chicana Studies, Native American and Indigenous Studies, Psychology, African American and Black Studies, Anthropology, etc.
