#1. Do you have a paper but want to increase the likelihood of acceptance? Submit a Call for Co-Panelists to find likeminded presenters in our forum or find a call already posted and join their proposed session.
#2. Have too many incredible presenters in mind for your panel or roundtable? Submit multiple parts on the same topic. Name them similarly and label them Part I, II, III etc and we’ll schedule them together.
#3. Become an ASA member for the biggest registration discount. If you want to cover another participant’s fees, email us and we’ll set up one easy payment. We can set up an institutional invoice for you and your colleagues too!
#4. Tired of the same presentation set up? Try a new format this year with Author Meets Critic or Film & Media Critic Roundtables!
#5. Want to shake up your presentation style? Structure your panel differently by inviting new faces and create your own Scholar Meets Practitioner or a practicum session for group teaching & learning.
#6. DO NOT WAIT! The 2024 CFP closes Sunday, March 17, 11:59pm EDT. If you have questions or log in issues, don’t wait until the last minute to email the Secretariat. Plan for inbox flooding and email early, during east coast business hours!
