The socio-economic and political relationships between China and the continent of Africa continue to bolster. As with every relationship, there are positive and negative consequences on the various countries in Africa. Obviously, Chinese loans and expertise is contributing to the economic and infrastructural development of African countries. On the other hand, quite a number of Africans note that their countries are being devastated by Chinese activities.
This panel seeks to highlight some of the consequences experienced in various African countries. Thus, a panelist may present on a country of their choice.
