Established in 2017, the ASA Coordinate and Affiliate Organization Micro Grants are designed to support events or projects organized by ASA Coordinate and Affiliate Organizations during the calendar year.
Four grants will be awarded in 2026: $750 each for two Coordinate Organizations and $500 each for two Affiliate Organizations.
Eligibility
All ASA Coordinate and Affiliate organizations in good financial standing are welcome to apply.

About ASA Coordinate and Affiliate Organizations
ASA Coordinate and Affiliate Organizations have a scholarly or professional interest in Africa, and often focus on a specific country, region, or discipline. Most organizations present sponsored panels or roundtables, and hold meetings or receptions at the ASA Annual Meeting each year. Participation in these organizations allows ASA members to network with other members who hold similar research interests, and to promote academic and field work in specific regions and fields of study.
