Applications are now open for exciting leadership roles at SASA! SASA is seeking enthusiastic students who are looking for experience in working in non-profit organizations, and want to show their skills, expand their network and, most importantly, MAKE AN IMPACT.
Currently we are looking to fill several leadership roles, which are particularly suited for PhD students:
- Continuing Education Unit Team Leader – Lead the growth of our network of Ancient Studies teachers, sparking students´ interests at their first engagement with the pre-modern world!
- Archaeogaming Education Team Leader – Be at the cutting edge of Ancient Studies education!
- Virtual Conference Team Co-Leader – Bring Ancient Studies to everyone organizing our annual online academic conference!
- Recruitment Coordinator – Meet and guide people passionate about Ancient Studies and the Humanities!
- Live Events Team Co-Leader – Create exciting online events that people love!

Additionally, we offer volunteer roles across all of our teams and would love to offer experience in each that are of interest. An overview about each of our teams can be found under our Volunteer Flyer attached below.
For undergraduates we offer internships across all our teams. All positions will be remote, part-time and unpaid. The weekly commitment ranges between 10-15 hours, although up to 25 hours per week can be accommodated to meet requirements for college credit. The minimum age for interns is 18. More information can be found under our Internship Flyer (attached below) and under Role Descriptions.
