The ASA is looking for experienced photographers to volunteer their services for the upcoming 59th Annual Meeting of the African Studies Association, which is scheduled to take place in Washington, DC, on December 1-3, 2016. Candidates must have experience photographing large events, and experience with large conferences and conventions will be given preference.

Please note that this is a temporary, non paid assignment. Selected volunteers will receive the following benefits:

-A complimentary room at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel (the event venue), for the duration of the conference
-A free pass to attend all sessions and events at the conference

Selected volunteers will be responsible for their own travel to the conference venue.
