ibrahim Bàbátúndé Anọ́ba is a scholar of African spiritual epistemologies and Indigenous African religions. He is a doctoral candidate in African history, with a designated emphasis in African diaspora studies, at the University of California, Davis. His research explores the intersections of religion, law, science, and cultural knowledge production in Africa. His work has appeared in the Journal of Church and State, the Journal of Religion in Africa, and History in Africa. Bàbátúndé served as Secretary of the Emerging Scholars Network from 2024 to 2025. He was born and raised on Lagos Island.
