Join us for a special roundtable conversation on Emerging Scholars & Advocacy: Finding Your Voice On Capitol Hill and Beyond on Wednesday, April 27 at 2pm EDT.
We’ll be joined by three emerging scholars, Eric Schmidt (Boston University), Utitofon Inyang (University of California, Riverside), and Reed Couvillon (Rutgers University) who recently attended the National Humanities Alliance workshop and virtual Capitol Hill advocacy day. They’ll share their unique insights on advocating for areas studies funding as well as the value of connecting with other humanities advocates in their respective states. The conversation will be led by Akosua Adomako Ampofo (University of Ghana), current Chair of the ASA Advocacy Committee.
This virtual event is open to all current ASA Members. The link will be available in MyASA the day of the event. Not a 2022 member? Login to MyASA and sign up today.
