Efetobor Stephanie EFFEVOTTU is a doctoral candidate at the Department of History, University of Ibadan. She is the Director of Administration at the Building Blocks for Peace Foundation, a youth-led non-governmental organisation committed to promoting peace in Nigeria. Miss Efetobor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (2014) from the University of Benin and a Masters of Arts degree in History (2017) from the University of Ibadan. Her area of specialisation lies in development studies, with a focus on religion. conflict transformation, and peacebuilding. She is also interested in gender, youth and migration studies, with several articles to her credit, including: Interrogating the Nexus between Climate Change and Farmer-Herders Conflicts in Nigeria (2019), The Marlian Empire: Exploring Celebrity Culture and its Impact on Nigerian Youths (2020), and Women’s Political Representation and Sustainable Development in Nigeria, 1999-2019 (2020), etc.
