The panel proposal will collect papers that reflect on the role of ICT in expanding access to reading materials in languages that are often underserved in educational settings, but are the mother languages of learners. The panel could be comprised of people from a variety of regions and may include scholars of education, literacy, language policy, language preservation, sustainable technology, etc. The details of the panel will reflect the ways that the individual paper submissions complement each other.
