The panel hopes to discuss the dynamics of Black feminist perspectives and how they inform research/policy/narratives about ecological systems, environments, and sustainability.
The goal is to highlight women and gender-diverse people of African/Caribbean descent and how our contributions to environmentalism have always been profound and continue to lead the way toward reproductive methods of sustainability.
This panel is open to expressive forms of presenting– if you have a poem/song related to your work/passion about the environment, it is possible to have you present too.
