1) Spirits that refuse to disappear. That is to say beliefs in spirits that may linger after rituals relating to the spirits have diminished. My own paper is on this topic and related to the phenomenological experience of spirits that remains beyond organized praxis.
2) Religious practices that have rebounded or grown despite predictions of their demise or traumatic disruptions
3) The ways in which religions or spiritual practices contribute to the resiliency of communities, identities, ecologies, etc.
